First and foremost, I wanted to thank everyone who has supported me and helped me top 30,000 visits to my website! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
I’m well under way with my galley rewrites and I have to say, I really didn’t like my publisher very much after reading their notes. I was told by one of the editors (when meeting with her in California) that the first two weeks after an author gets their galley and see’s the changes, the chief editor is in the “dog house”. So, the day I got my galley, I began to just read through the rewrites. And they were DEFINITELY in the dog house for a couple of weeks. I was arguing at my book as I read the suggested changes, “You’re crazy!, You don’t know what you’re talking about!” So, after a long talk with myself, I cast the book aside, treating it like a friend I chose to ignore. But eventually, I opened the book back up and reread the suggested changes. And they began to make sense. I needed to reflect on what I read in order to process what I needed to do. Now, I must say, the book is reading so much better in its delivery of information and development of characters. I’m committing no less than ten pages a day of rewrites in hopes of getting the rewrites completed by October. I will keep you updated with my progress.
As for the book trailer, my husband and son PROMISED to work on getting it posted in the next 1-2 weeks. So stay tuned. I will be sending out a post when you can view it.
Last but not least, I’ve finalized the development of T.A.P. and have begun sending them out to schools to begin scheduling the program. If you know of anyone interested in the T.A.P. program, have them contact me through my website. My plan is to have T.A.P. posted on my website as well for anyone who may be interested in it, to view it.
Stay tuned next week for information on some more artists that may be of interest to you.
Til next week….
