Lazy Days of Summer 2

Hi Everyone and thanks so much for stopping by! As you’ve noticed, I haven’t been able to log on lately as my computer has been hijacked by my oldest daughter working on her final college papers and DJ work. Now that summer is here, I can finally use my computer without a time limit or asking if it’s needed. A lot has happened since I last blogged. For starters, my kids band, Summer Monkeys and I have teamed up with the Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope (AAFH) and have committed to helping make a bigger impact on the wonderful work Yoli (President and Founder) is doing. For the 2017 year, if Summer Monkeys is booked through Gig Master, 100% of money earned through that booking will go to the AAFH. In addition, I have committed to donating 100% of proceeds earned from book sales to AAFH as well. I used to work with pediatric oncology patients at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago and had first had experience in their treatments. I’m strong believer in art/music therapy for these patients, which is why I feel so strongly about supporting AAFH. AAFH provides musical instruments and art supplies to children battling cancer. I’m hoping through our contributions to this remarkable organization, more children can be reached.
In addition, I had promised to announce an interview with a local author a couple of weeks ago, and am just waiting to hear back from him. I should have more information in recent blogs to come regarding this interview. Along with all of this, Forks Over Knives (FOK) and I have been working on an article on being vegan and how our family has made the switch. We’ll be featured in their newsletter and I am so excited to be given the opportunity in sharing our story with everyone. I will let you know when that will be published.
I’m continuing to work with my publisher on getting my book out in e-book and will update you as soon as I hear something.
Hoping everyone is staying safe this summer. If you get a chance, I’d appreciate your sharing my information on how I and my kids band Summer Monkeys are supporting AAFH. Helping make a difference in children diagnosed with cancer is something everyone should consider. By purchasing The Wish or booking Summer Monkeys through Gig Master, we can all partner in helping children battling cancer.
Thank you for your support! Til next week….

Hi E.V., This is Will in Aurora. Are you hosting any events this summer? I recall you had previous meetings at the Geneva Library. I published a book at Amazon several years ago. I hope to meet you in person. Peace to you, WILL

      Hey Will,
The Summer has slowed down a bit for me, but am working on getting a few more book signings at some B&N before October. If you continue to follow me on my blogs, you’ll stay updated on the most current happenings with The Wish. Thanks so much for reaching out to me. Hope to see you in a future event!
